Owai Olympics!

Wow! What a fabulous Owai Olympics! So much fun was had with our WHOLE school. Every class represented a different country. Room 25 and Room 3 (our  buddy class) represented NEW ZEALAND! We all dressed in black and white clothes and made NZ banners. We paraded in the Opening Ceremony, sang the National Anthem and saw the Olympic Torch being delivered by Darrien to declare the 2016 Owai Olympics open!!

During the day we competed in the gumboot throw, potato and spoon race, tug of war, long jump, baton relays, three legged race, weightlifting and so many more fun activities!

Thank you for organising this amazing day Mr Pressnell.

Room 25 - Thank you for your passion, determination and enthusiasm... You are all gold medal winners to me!
