Light and shadows

Yesterday we did an experiment to figure out if the length and angle of our shadow changes at different times of the day. Wowee, we learnt some amazing things! The photo above shows LJ and Kairos with the outline of their shadow at 9.30am and their shadow later in the day at 11am. Can you see how the angle and length of their shadow has changed? We found out that the sun makes longest shadows at the beginning and end of the day, when the sun is lowest in the sky.

We are all teachers in Room 25!

Room 25 is full of amazing, talented and unique learners! We have been focusing on sharing our learning with others - We are all teachers!

The ELEPHANTS reading group had an opportunity to do some independent research about a topic that interests them. This photo shows Washington and Rico sharing an amazing video they found about dominoes.
